The Columbus Community School District will kick off their homecoming week this evening with the coronation ceremony and dance. 

On the homecoming court are Kaleb Arreola, Leo Corona, Tyson Kaalberg, Drew Totemeir, Dakota Aney, and in the running for homecoming queen are Jocelyn Hernandez, Jessica Del Rio, Tlaine Alvarado, Daniela Diaz, and Dahlia Valdez. The coronation ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. in the high school gym, with the dance to follow in the high school cafeteria from 8 to 11 p.m. 

The dress up days for the district include Monday: Anything but a Backpack; Tuesday: Heroes vs. Villains;  Wednesday: Cowboys vs. Rangers; Thursday: Pajama Day; and Friday: Royal Blue Team Spirit. 

Activities continue throughout the week with the homecoming parade on Wednesday beginning at 5:30 p.m, and the pep rally and football game on Friday. The Wildcats will take on New London beginning at 7 p.m. KCII will be broadcasting the game live on the KCII3 stream.
