Registration is open for the Washington Chamber of Commerce “Birdies, Beers, and Brats” Oktoberfest Golf Tournament to be held on September 26th. The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Washington Country Club Golf Course.
Washington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Redlinger shared what the tournament is all about, “The tournament is a lot more about fun and creating relationships, making new friends. And there are volunteer opportunities too, so, if you’re not the best golfer, don’t let that discourage you. We’re out there to have a good time, and just celebrate the community.”
This is an 18 hole, four-person best ball tournament. The cost per four person team is $400 and includes a golf cart and a German meal. There will be prizes for best score, “wurst” score, most fun, and best costume.
