A Hiawatha man being held in Johnson County had warrants in Washington County for felony probation violation charges.
On Saturday, the Johnson County jail informed Washington County officials that they were holding 29-year-old Jamouri Hollingsworth on local charges.
Hollingsworth was arrested in Washington County in August of 2022 after failing to appear for his arraignment. Hollingsworth was initially arrested in Lee County in July of that year on a Washington County warrant for failure to affix a drug tax stamp, and possession of a controlled substance on certain properties, both class D felonies. He pleaded guilty to both felony charges and was sentenced to a suspended sentence with probation. A detainer was placed to hold Hollingsworth in Johnson County.
