The filing period for City and School elections is approaching.  

The positions for the Washington City Council that will be filled include: Mayor, At Large City Councilor, Ward 2 City Councilor, and Ward 4 City Councilor. The Washington School Board has three positions to fill, District 2, District 5, and an At-Large position. 

The candidate nomination period is from August 25 through September 18, 2025.  Elections will be held on November 4th.
