The Washington City Council approved authorizing Levy, assessment, and collection of costs to the Washington County Treasurer for the 2023 sidewalk repair program. 

City Clerk Kathy Kron has worked to finish the program for the sidewalk repairs that were completed in 2023. Kron sent invoices to residents who had authorized the City to have the contractor at that time complete the repairs needed and be invoiced. 

Most payments have been received, but there are 26 invoices that have not been paid, which will be assessed to their taxes. Invoice totals range from $8 to $96.
