Average gas prices continue to fall throughout the state of Iowa, according to the latest fuel report from AAA and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.

The average price of regular unleaded gas fell six cents to $2.93 in the Hawkeye state. Nationally, prices fell one cent to $3.16.

Average diesel prices also continued to drop this week in Iowa, decreasing by five cents to $3.52. Nationally, diesel prices rose by a penny to $3.70.

Crude oil prices rose as well this week, with Brent crude prices increasing by $2.94 per barrel to $70.34 and West Texas Intermediate crude jumping $2.90 to $68.57.
