The Evanovich Main Entrance and Emergency Room is complete at Washington County Hospital and Clinics.
Major Gifts Development Officer John Woodward spoke with KCII about the impact of the renovation for the hospital staff and patients, “It’s really sharp, but we worked together with Jane (Evanovich) and the family because we wanted people to know and understand that this is, this is who helped to provide this, and it was a big deal. Also, inside the change with the visual and accessible dynamic of people coming in, so patients, providers, and staff that’s always what we are trying to improve things for. So these things for patients, they can come in, and more people are going to be able to check in at one time. They are able to get a more clear direction on ER versus main registration.”
A ribbon cutting and open house marked the occasion on June 10th. Guests enjoyed an evening of connection and celebration, complete with hors d’oeuvres, special remarks from John Woodward and WCHC CEO Todd Patterson, and a look at the upgraded space at WCHC. They were joined by the Evanovich family, as well as members of the Washington Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Ambassadors.
