Wapello native Lydia Fischer has been crowned the 2025 Miss Iowa. The win is the culmination of an over-15-year pageant career.

Fischer is the first contestant in history to win each of the L’il, Junior, Teen and Miss Iowa categories of the pageant, winning those titles in 2010, 2014 and 2017, respectively. 

She was crowned on the evening of June 14 at the pageant in Davenport and will be celebrated with a ceremony on the Miss Iowa Youth stage at Muscatine High School at 2 p.m. on July 13.
