Court proceedings are scheduled for a 21-year old Washington man regarding two charges of carrying weapons on school grounds. Jedadiah West Reed Holden is facing the two class D felonies. 

According to court records, a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 20th was waived on Thursday. 

He was arrested on June 10th following an investigation by the Washington Police Department with the cooperation of Washington School District. Authorities outline that two handguns were found near a tree on the high school grounds near the baseball field on May 30th. After reviewing surveillance footage, it was discovered that the weapons were placed there on May 22nd. Authorities determined that person was West Reed Holden.

He was taken to the Washington County Jail.

The next hearing will be an arraignment, a date for which has not yet been announced.
