The Washington Demons finished off the week by taking down the Lone Tree Lions on the baseball diamond Friday night 17-0. Washington built a 3-0 lead through the first three innings, but the Demons would really get going in the back half of the game, including scoring 10 times in the sixth on their way to ending the game early.

The win helps Washington improve to 2-5, while the loss drops Lone Tree to the same record. While the Lions are off until Tuesday against the Hillcrest Academy Ravens, the Demons will next play Monday in a doubleheader against conference rival Fairfield.
