
After going six weeks drought-free, all of Washington County is now experiencing abnormally dry conditions.
Henry, Jefferson, Louisa and Keokuk Counties all increased to 100% abnormally dry alongside Washington. A week ago, the driest of those counties was Keokuk at 43.59% abnormally dry.
Johnson and Iowa counties, both of which have also been drought-free the past several weeks, each are now nearly 50% abnormally dry.
Overall, 13.05% of Iowa is experiencing moderate drought conditions and 58.62% of the state is abnormally dry.
