Elementary students in Washington learned about agriculture safety before heading into summer break. The Washington County Extension hosted a Progressive Agriculture Safety Day for Stewart Elementary’s second grade students. 

This event was made possible with the support of community partners who shared lessons in safety and wellness. Some of the presenters for the day include Aurora Counseling and Wellness for Mental Health and Stress, Canadian Pacific on Railroad Safety, Washington County Hospital and Clinics for First Aid, Washington FFA for Animal Safety, and the Washington YMCA for Water Safety.
