
Gas prices rose slightly in Iowa this week while holding steady nationally, according to this week’s fuel report from AAA and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
The average price of regular unleaded gas rose three cents this week to $2.93 per gallon in the Hawkeye state, 25 cents below the national average of $3.18.
Retail diesel prices also rose in Iowa, increasing five cents to $3.34. The national average price for diesel also rose slightly, climbing by one cent to $3.55.
Crude oil prices fell this week, with West Texas Intermediate crude decreasing by $1.24 to $62.05 per barrel and Brent crude decreasing by 87 cents to $65.37.
