Following recent rain, the Memorial Day weekend is looking to have mild conditions. The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities is expecting high temperatures in the upper 60s for the region over the weekend with some rain chances of 20-40%, but confidence is low.

So far this month, Washington has observed just over three inches of precipitation, about half an inch below the normal amount for the first three weeks of May. The average temperature has been 60.6 degrees, slightly above the norm of 59.1 degrees. 

On the year, precipitation in Washington is about three inches lower than the normal amount of 12.3 inches.
