
For the third straight week, average fuel prices fell in the state of Iowa, defying this week’s national trend, according to the latest fuel report from AAA and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
Regular unleaded prices are down two cents to $2.90 per gallon in Iowa while the national average rose three cents to $3.18.
Retail diesel prices held this week both statewide and nationally at $3.29 in Iowa and $3.54 nationally.
Crude oil prices rose from a week ago, with West Texas Intermediate crude rising $4.51 to $63.29 per barrel and Brent Crude rising $4.50 to $66.24.
