The Washington County Recorder’s Office is getting an upgrade. Recorder Teresa Mangold announced the office will be getting a software upgrade to Eagle Recorder on Wednesday, May 28th. The office will remain open, however the staff will not be able to record anything or process any business that day. This includes e-recordings.

Searches on the Iowa Land Records will not be affected by the process that day.

People are asked to plan accordingly regarding any recording documents, DNR transactions, or vital records.

The office plans to continue normal business on Thursday, May 29th.
