Former Washington Mayor Jaron Rosien has plead guilty to assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor, and a sentencing hearing has been set. 

According to court documents, the parties request a contested sentencing hearing where Rosien will request a deferred judgment. The sentencing hearing has been set for July 11th at 9:30 a.m. 

Rosien was originally charged with sexual abuse in the third degree, a Class D felony. The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred in January of 2023 in Washington. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
