Washington County Hospital and Clinics’ (WCHC) new Mediapolis clinic will be hosting an open house on Monday, May 5.

As well as a chance to see the facility itself, the open house will give area residents a chance to meet the staff, which is led by Nurse Practitioner Kim Krieger, set up MyChart accounts, schedule appointments, and eat food including walking tacos.

WCHC Marketing Director Greta Clemons said that the organization is excited about the new location, “I know it’s out of our local community here, but still a good distance, and it’s a place that definitely needed a clinic. The community was really excited about us opening there and bringing a clinic into Mediapolis so they don’t have to travel as far for everyday care, so I think expanding beyond our community is great and being able to offer it to another small local town.”

The open house will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the new clinic’s location at 401 North Orchard Street in Mediapolis. The clinic will begin taking appointments the following day.
