The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls and boys soccer teams travel to Cedar Valley Christian Thursday for a pair of non-conference contests with the Huskies. The Golden Hawk girls are in the midst of a three-game winning streak, taking down Central Lee, Columbus and Monticello in the last week by a combined 16-2 score. Mid-Prairie has outscored their opponents this year 17-14, with 54 shots on goal, 23 corner kicks and 79% team save percentage. Individually, Meadow Flynn and Lydia Beachy are tied for the team lead with four goals each. Brooklyn Schneider and Kyla Karnes each have three. Beachy and Schneider also have two assists apiece. Niva Helmuth and Ruth Whitthoft have combined for 52 saves in goal.

Cedar Valley Christian is 2-2 this year with wins over Monticello and Wapello and losses to Clayton Ridge and Vinton-Shellsburg. On the season, they have been outscored 15-7 with six assists, 24 shots on goal, 10 corner kicks and a 66% team save percentage. Individually, Rielle Moore has four goals to lead the way and Jayden Hull has three assists. Jorja Lillis has 21 saves. The Golden Hawks have won the last three in the series including a 2-1 victory last year.

The Mid-Prairie boys are 1-4 this season after getting a 3-0 win over Monticello Monday. The Hawks have been outscored 22-5 this year with 33 shots on goal, 11 corner kicks, and a 67% team save percentage. Individually, Kale Miller has two goals, with Will Snider, Ashton Townsend and Peyton Fox at one each. Snider, Ty Huber and Adrian Sanchez each have an assist. Jacob Flynn has 20 saves in goal.

Cedar Valley Christian is 2-3 this year, coming off of a 4-0 win over Monticello Tuesday. The Huskies have outscored their opponents 19-12 this season with eight assists, 48 shots on goal, 19 corner kicks and a 79% team save percentage. Individually, Josh Skinner leads with four goals, Zach Isaacson is best with four assists and Caleb Krueger has 19 saves. Mid-Prairie has won each of the 12 meetings between these schools including a 2-0 victory last season. Action starts tonight at 5p.m. At the Martin Sports Complex.
