For some, the spring season means cleaning, Main Street Washington and downtown businesses want you to think about shopping. Friday and Saturday, Main Street in conjunction with a dozen downtown businesses invite the community to the Spring Shop Hop. The event centers around touring curated finds and exciting pop-up shops around the square and beyond. Main Street Washington Director Samantha Meyer spoke recently with KCII News about the importance of shopping local and showing off Washington, “We love promoting all of the local businesses and it’s really nice because you know all of the money is staying in Washington.”
