Involved volunteers and a business on Washington’s square received awards from Main Street Washington this week. At the Annual Dinner and Awards Night held at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort on Monday, Main Street Washington presented their annual Heart of Main Street awards in two categories – individual and business.

Owner of LUX Suites Deana DeLong received the Heart of Main Street Business award. DeLong has reinvigorated a space on the north side of the Washington square. The business offers suites for a variety of businesses and includes a storefront for Earthly Blessings.

Wilson Leppert and Jena Steele were each presented the Heart of Main Street award for their volunteer efforts with the non-profit organization.
