Riverside will have their third council meeting of the year on Monday, February 3rd.
Items on the agenda include looking back at 2024, when the city replaced the sidewalk panel from Sycamore Street. The community center, the Cherry Lane extension, pickleball courts, the security and access control project, the CDBG Downtown Revitalization, which was approved back in 2023, and Building Inspections, that Axiom Consultants completed in 2024.
The city would like to set new dates for public hearings regarding the Cherry Lane Extension and Hall Park for the new Pickleball courts on March 3rd. Riverside also wants to set the date for another public hearing and bid letting for the Security and Access Control Project on February 18th. The public forum will take place before the agendas, which will include Helping Hands program, Kelli Schneider, Kalona Public Library, Olivia Kahler and Washington Economic Development Group, Mary Audia. They will wrap up the meeting by finding a solution to repair generators.
The meeting will take place at the City Council Chamber at 60 Greene St in Riverside at 6 p.m.
