
The City of Brighton will hold its first council meeting of the new year on Tuesday, January 2.
On the agenda are the annual appointments, including Clerk, Attorney, Communication’s Commission, 911 board member and alternate, Emergency Management representative and alternate, Mayor Pro Tem and alternate at Mayors’ meetings, and publication newspaper.
Other action items consist of reports from the Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department, a pair of resolutions pertaining to corporate authorization and the bank depository, plus a discussion on the City of Brighton’s municipal grant from the Riverboat Foundation. Ongoing business includes updates on the Fountain/Benton Street sewer project, and solar panels for municipal use.
The meeting will be held in Brighton City Hall beginning at 6 p.m.
