Downtown Washington’s business windows are decorated for the holidays and many will be open late on Friday for shopping. The Twilight Shop and Stroll is being held 5-8 p.m. Businesses will have special sales during the event. As shoppers go around the square they’ll be able to enjoy the lights that outline the historic downtown buildings, the light display in Centennial Fountain, and visit the Lights of Love Memory Trees in Central Park. The holiday festivities will carry into the weekend with the annual Candlelight Tour of Homes being held, and Santa visiting 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
