paws-open-house-2019

Canned cat food, scratching posts, laundry detergent, dog collars, and durable toys are just a few of the items on the list PAWS and More is sending to Santa this holiday season. The local animal shelter is hosting an open house this weekend. The public is welcome to visit and play with the shelter animals, drop off a gift from their wishlist, and potentially meet the next member of their family. Cat and kitten adoptions are half off through December 15th. PAWS and More Director Amber Talbot says adopting an animal should be a decision that the whole family agrees to and the responsibilities of owning a pet should be discussed before taking an animal home during the holidays. The open house is this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
