In his first year as a member of the Mount Pleasant baseball team, WACO’s Nik Coble made an impact in the Southeast Conference.
The junior was recently named second team All-Conference as an infielder and also was listed as Academic All-Conference. Coble was the everyday first baseman for the Panthers and posted a .327 batting average with 24 RBI and a team-high 22 walks. He also led the Panthers with a 2.46 ERA in 31 1/3 innings of work with a minuscule .099 opponent batting average. WACO and Mount Pleasant had a sharing agreement this year that sent all Warrior baseball players to compete for the Panthers.
Coble helped Mount Pleasant to a 21-11 season and a share of the conference crown.
