
A suspicious package in rural Mt. Pleasant led to a felony drug arrest.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, at 1:30 p.m. Monday they assisted the United States Postal Inspection Service with a suspicious package delivery. The package contained one pound-and-a-half of marijuana. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office seized the marijuana and arrested 52-year-old William Carlberg of Mt. Pleasant. Carlberg was charged with possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor, and drug tax stamp act violation, a class D felony. Authorities are working to deliver justice.
