The summer months feature upcoming activities for adults at the Washington Public Library. The summer reading program this year has the theme “A Universe of Stories”.
The Washington Public Library librarians talk about how the program works. “For every book you read or listen to you can fill out a ticket for one of the amazing prizes that are planned. The prizes will be drawn at the alley party on July 26th. Last year it was so much fun, we had music, food and everybody hung out.”
Other activities over the summer include special events like knitting outdoors for sticks and stings on June 7th, a documentary about the thiamine on June 13th, a fiction book club that meets on June 18th, a paint along class and a concert for the month on June 27th.
