KCII area golf teams of Winfield-Mt. Union and Lone Tree hit the links at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside on Thursday and the Wolves came home with the boy/girl sweep.

In the boys’ dual the Wolves won the nine-hole meet with a score of 181-270. Nolan Ross was meet-medalist with a 38 and Graham Hagge came in second with 46. Other golfers included Jarod Kadel with 48, Noah Freeman 49, Jacob Kongable 52, and Brady Loyd shot a 53. Corey Krueger led the Lions with a 57. Other scores included Jaxon Mullinix with 68, Payton Lorack with 72, Bryce Houser with 73, and Hunter Hain with 79.

On the girls’ side WMU won by a score of 251-315. Sabrina Moody had another meet-medalist performance shooting a 53. WMU also had Lauren Hagge with 60, Abbie Cooley 60, Chloe Fisher 78, Makenna Mullin 86, and Kristina Gerst 106. Lone Tree scores included Abby Buckman with 62, Kylie Patterson 82, Bailey Pierson 84, and Tessa Galloway with 87.

The Southeast Iowa Super Conference boys’ meet will be Monday and the girls on Wednesday in Fort Madison.
