Four Mid-Prairie students brought home Iowa FFA degrees from the state FFA Leadership Conference. A total of 21 Golden Hawks made the trip to Ames. Aubrey Fay, Abby Frantz, Olivia Quinby, and Byron Yoder received their Iowa FFA Degrees, the highest degree the state can award. Mid-Prairie also found success in competition. David Murray and Sophia Norman were awarded gold ratings for their reporter’s scrapbook. Frantz, Jordan Hammen, and Hailey Slaubaugh also each earned a gold rating for a chapter display. The Mid-Prairie FFA chapter, as a whole, brought home some honors as well. The chapter was recognized as a gold sponsor of the Iowa FFA Foundation and earned the WHO public relations award.
