The Mid-Prairie boys and girls golf teams are set for River Valley Conference action Monday when they take on the Wilton Beavers.

The Mid-Prairie boys enter action after Tuesday’s Wildcat Invitational at Wahkonsa Golf Course. The Golden Hawks finished third as a team with an overall score of 334. Noah Schlabaugh was third individually with his round of 77. On the season Mid-Prairie is shooting a 170 average per nine holes. Schlabaugh leads the Golden Hawks with his 38 average.

The Wilton boys were second at Wahkonsa last week, edging the Golden Hawks by a single shot. On the season the Beavers have a 183 average per nine holes, led by Brock Hartley and his 43.

In girls play, the Golden Hawks are coming off of a third place finish at their home 18-hole invite Thursday. Mid-Prairie was led by Abbi Patterson and Abby Statler, each finishing in the top 10 with scores of 93 and 94 respectively. On the season the Golden Hawks have a 213 average per nine holes, led by Patterson and her 49 average.

The Wilton girls were also at the Golden Hawk Invite last week where they finished fourth with a 407. The Beavers were led by Eleney Owens and Taylor Garvin each with 97s. On the season Wilton has a 221 average per nine holes, led by Owens at 51.

The Mid-Prairie boys take on the Beavers on their home course at Wahkonsa, while the Golden Hawk girls entertain Wilton at the Kalona Golf Course. Both meets begin at 4p.m.
