Suspicious activity in rural Washington County, south of Riverside, resulted in one man being arrested Thursday night. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 8 p.m. in the 3000 grid of 160th Street dispatch was notified of a suspicious vehicle and a person with a flashlight walking by buildings. Authorities arrested 57-year-old Peter John Lucas of Fairfield. Lucas had a warrant in Fairfield for failure to appear for arraignment on original charges of theft in the fourth degree. He was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
