The DNR Air Quality Bureau is seeking public comment on air quality where facilities have the potential to emit large amounts of air pollutants.
These five-year reviews of existing permits are a federal requirement, and are used to help protect Iowans’ health and the air where we live. One permit under review is the Natural Gas Pipeline Co of America-Station 205 located at 1155 200th Street, Keota. The renewal application was submitted by the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America to operate their existing Natural Gas Compressor facility. DNR’s permitting staff review the applications to ensure facilities comply with state and federal air quality standards. The public has the right and is encouraged to comment on draft permits. Submit comments in writing before 4:30 p.m. August 4.
