Iowa Mennonite School head boys basketball coach Dwight Gingerich was honored as the 2018 Don Logan Service Award Winner during Friday’s championship round at the Iowa State boys basketball tournament.

Gingerich, was presented the award on the floor at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines between the class 1A and 2A state championship games. Gingerich, who just concluded his 36th year as head coach at Iowa Mennonite School also serves on the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Board.
