The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk basketball teams are back on the floor tonight when they travel to Wilton for a River Valley Conference doubleheader.

The Golden Hawk girls are 9-6 overall, looking to break a four game losing streak. On Friday they fell to No. 10 Monticello 71-52. On the season Mid-Prairie is led by Addie Rath scoring 18 points per game, second in the RVC. She’s also the team’s leading rebounder with 102. Anna Vilovchik has the team lead with 37 assists.

Wilton comes into tonight with an overall record of 11-6. In their last game they beat Northeast Goose Lake 73-36. On the season they are led by Emily Lange at 16 points per game, fifth in the RVC. Kortney Drake is third in the RVC with 70 assists. Aubrey Putman has 156 rebounds fifth in the RVC. These two teams met in December with Mid-Prairie winning 49-44.

The Mid-Prairie boys enter tonight with a 3-12 overall record. They beat Monticello Friday 50-44. On the year Mid-Prairie is led by Cale Robertson scoring nine points per game. Brad Tornow is fifth in the RVC with 41 assists. Tom Butters has 101 rebounds fourth in the RVC.

Wilton comes into tonight with a record of 1-15. The fell to Northeast Goose Lake 79-13 on Friday. On the year the Beavers are led by Jared Townsend scoring 13 points per game seventh in the RVC. He also leads the Beavers with 81 rebounds. Garrett Bohnsack has the team lead with 30 assists. Mid-Prairie beat Wilton in December 76-58.
