Washington will host 500 tractors this summer for the annual Tractorcade.
It is the 19th year of the event and its first time in Washington. Director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce Michelle Redlinger explains the three-day event and how it showcases Washington, “Each day the tractors will do kind of like a clover, so they’ll travel out and end back every evening in Washington. So even those who are driving get to spend their evenings free in the community.” The day trips will include visits to Keota, Sigourney, Richland, Kalona, Riverside, and Lake Darling. The event begins June 10th.
