Warmer than usual temperatures continued into Tuesday in Washington.

According to the National Weather Service the thermometer climbed to 61 degrees Tuesday, just two degrees short of the record high that was set in 1960. Despite the recent warm spell, the overall average temperature for November in Washington has been below normal. The average temperature has been observed at 36.2 degrees, while 38.8 degrees is normal. Precipitation has also been below normal with 0.8 inches received this month, while 2.21 inches is normal. High temperatures are expected to be in the upper-40’s to lower-50’s the rest of the week. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
