New record high temperatures were set in Washington over the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service the thermometer rose to 71 degrees Saturday a new record. The record had been 68 degrees set in 1915. The normal for November 25th is 43 degrees. So far this month the average temperature has been 35.8 degrees, below the normal 39.4 degrees. Temperatures are expected to drop as the week progresses with highs in the low 50s by the end of the week. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
