Four Mid-Prairie high school students received first, second, and third place awards at the River Valley Conference Art Show on May 9th.

Sam Bailey won first place in pencil drawing. Marshall Teets won second place in painting. Lola Knight won third place in mixed media. Patricia Godinez won third place in painting. Abby Frantz and Marina Beachy also took home Rising Star awards. Eight categories of artwork were judged by art teachers in the River Valley Art Conference, and the show took place at the Hills Bank and Trust Company in Iowa City.
