A local non-profit that works to establish endowments for area organizations is hosting a fundraiser dinner next week. The Community Foundation of Washington County is holding their annual dinner Tuesday in Richmond, it was formerly a chef cook-off challenge but executive director of the organization Millie Youngquist shares this year it is a chef spotlight featuring locally sourced foods prepared by Tim Howard of Cafe Dodici. This year’s speaker will feature PAWS & More, a non-profit that has an endowment and portions of the funds raised through the dessert auction will go to the shelter.
Tickets can be purchased from members of the local foundation for $50 and must be done so by the end of the day Thursday. The Community Foundation of Washington County is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend.
