The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s golf tournament at the Ames Golf and Country Club is in the books and two KCII area individuals competed.

Participating in Class 1A was Winfield-Mt. Union’s senior Grace Edwards who finished tied for 16th place. On Monday, she scored an 18 over 91 and yesterday scored a 29 over 102 to make her total 47 over 193.

The other participant was Columbus Community’s junior Kortney Orr in the Class 2A individual state golf tournament. Orr finished tied for 22nd place among the field. In round one Orr scored a 22 over 95 and in round two scored a 23 over 96 to make her total overall a 45 over 191.
