The annual plant sale held by the Washington County Master Gardeners will be held Saturday morning. Proceeds from the plant sale are used to fund a horticulture scholarship and for projects around the county.
Most of the plants come are donated and come from the gardens of Master Gardeners in Washington County and are potted in early spring. Master Gardener president Regina Snyder states there are usually many perennials and a few annuals. Flowers, foliage, herbs, hanging baskets, used tools and garden art pieces will be available.
Also, Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions. The sale begins at 8 a.m. at the Palmer Polygonal Barn on the Washington County Fairgrounds.
