After Tuesday’s election, Republicans continue to hold the offices in the Washington County Courthouse. With unofficial results from the auditor’s office, Abe Miller won the supervisors district three race with 897 votes to Democrat Keith Cutkomp’s 721 votes. Miller had 55 percent of the vote. In the district five supervisor race, Richard Young ran unopposed and was elected with 1,290 votes, with 16 write-ins.

In the county attorney race, newcomer Shawn Showers won with 4,668 votes, over former Washington County Attorney Barb Edmondson, who had 3,394 votes. Showers had nearly 58 percent of the votes cast.
