Two bond referendums in Washington County will be held April 1st. The Washington School District will vote on whether to approve a $1.1 million bond referendum at 40 cents per $1,000 for seven years. And the Mid-Prairie School District will vote on a $10.6 million bond issue.

Auditor Dan Widmer estimates the special election for Washington to cost $3,500 and the Mid-Prairie election to cost $4,000. Mid-Prairie’s is more expensive because polls will be open longer, starting at 7 a.m. while Washington’s open at noon.
