The City of Keota is attempting to purchase a property that’s been a nuisance for years. The uninhabitable home at 401 North Green Street will be demolished if the city can purchase it. According to City Clerk Niki Osweiler, if the sale goes through and the home is demolished, the open lot will be used by the city or sold. The matter will be discussed at Monday’s City Council meeting.
