A local organization with a mission that no kids sleep on the floor recently held a bed building event in partnership with Riverside Casino and Golf Resort.
Riverside Casino and Golf Resort hosted the most recent Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build. With the work of the team, they successfully built 10 beds that will soon provide local children with a safe, comfortable place to sleep. To accomplish a bed build, volunteers measure, sand, assemble, stain, and carry lumber.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a non-profit organization with a mission to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor. Donations received go towards lumber and building supplies as well as mattresses, bedding, and pillows.
