The Hillcrest Academy Ravens took a road trip to the Snake Pit to finish the regular season Friday and returned with a 2-0 win over Sigourney-Keota. The Ravens scored once in each half, with goals from the two Isaacs, Beachy and Birky with assists from Kale Bailey and Angel Sambrano. That was more than enough for a Raven defense that limited the chances for the Savages. Hillcrest had Beckett Miller and Garrett Bontrager each clock in for a half in goal, both made one stop each and turned in a pair of clean sheets. SK got one shot on goal each from Gavin Khali and Caden Meyer. Ty Goldman made 11 saves. The win got the Ravens back to .500 on the year going to the postseason at 7-7, while the loss extends SK’s skid to eight matches and drops them to 2-10.
