The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team traveled to Wahkonsa Country Club to finish the River Valley Conference regular season this week with a quad against West Liberty and the two home schools, Durant and Wilton. The Hawks finished second of the group with their team score 189 for nine holes. Durant won with a school record 183 and West Liberty was third with 195 and Wilton was fourth at 206.

Olivia Swartzendruber continued her sizzling play down the stretch. The River Valley Conference individual champion led the Hawks with her round of 43 to tie for medalist honors with Durant’s Bailey Scott and West Liberty’s Kamryn Gilmore. Other cards for the Hawks included Morgyn Bender 47, Macie Ihrig 48, Noelle Nelson 51, Delani Blum 52 and Paiton Chittick 53. After the meet, the Golden Hawks record stands at 38-6.
