The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys golf team had their final pre-postseason tuneup Monday, downing Durant in a River Valley Conference dual at Kalona 159-179. Denver Nelson led the Golden Hawks with a one-over 37, that included a pair of birdies, to win meet medalist honors. Grayson Gingerich and Tristan Koller were next in the medalist runner-up spot with 40s each. Andrew Rath made 42 and Ethan Schlabaugh and Logan Pacha 48 each. Mid-Prairie is 41-15 on the year with the 3A sectional tournament starting Wednesday in Oskaloosa.
