
Winfield-Mt. Union’s boys and girls golf squads both continue to make their case as a top team in the SEISC this season, with both teams earning wins on the road over New London on Friday.
The boys won 158-199, setting a new season low. The Wolves were led by Konner Kinneburg, who went under par at 35 for the day. Nicholas Sparrow scored a 39, with Grant Anderson and Cody Milks also adding to the team score at 42. Max Edwards shot a 43, and Justin Knipfer came in at 49.
Meanwhile, the girls earned a 223-236 win. Ashlyn Bender led the way at 45, with Kellee Milks, Ella Kann, and Brynn Pogmore adding themselves to the team score at 55, 58, and 67 respectively. Isabella Martinez scored a 75 for the day.
